It analyzes feasibility of the task to develop scientifically based methods that would allow assessment of activities performed by individual research departments and teams. The authors believe that a full-scale study of the dynamics of scientific departments and teams development should be based on the Current Research Information Systems (CRIS) within companies integrated into the national CRIS. The authors suggest a method to assess performance of the ongoing research studies based on the review of ratings of journals on which a research team's studies are published.DOI: 10.17323/1814-9545-2015-2-221-234
