Abstract:
The export potential of the food industry of Ukraine is found to be one of the important directions of development of export possibilities of the national economy. Inherent in Ukraine supply, sale and brokerage-trading nature of entering the world market is characterized as such that does not fulfill all the potential export opportunities in the production of food and necessitates reorientation and transition to a new model of interaction between the national economy and the world. As a result of the study, the growth of the export potential of food is stated to be a determining factor in the development of foreign trade relations, an important link in the foreign trade exchange.
