Abstract: Ignacio Rangel is an author of immense originality, although his work has been little explored in the Brazilian history of economic thought. The objective of this work is to develop a movement to recover the Rangelian interpretation of Brazil, putting light on his conception of basic duality and reintroducing Rangel in the list of the great interpreters of Brazil.
