Abstract: This article surveys recent studies on costs, potential barriers to implementation and marketability of Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage (CCS). Moreover, it discusses potential incentive schemes to push CCS into the market and, finally, provides an overview over cost types and forecasting uncertainties associated with these.
