National Institute Economic Outlook, 2026, issue Winter, 45-49

Abstract: Real personal disposable income (RPDI) growth stalled in the third quarter, with growth now expected to average 1.6 per cent in 2025. We expect RPDI growth of 1.0 per cent in 2026 as falling CPI inflation offsets a slowdown in nominal earnings growth.
