Abstract:
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a “concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and in their interaction with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis”. Within the framework of the European Strategy for CSR, a renewed definition is given which addresses the concept in a broader sense as “the responsibility of enterprises for their impact on society”.
