Abstract: This article demonstrates the benefits of solving the general problem of linear algebra and linear programming by use of MS Excel algorithms. MS Excel from MS Office is one of the most accessible software package. Studying Excel in depth gives the opportunity for easy assimilation of complex algorithms and elaborate on mathematical models. Solving the assigned problems becomes faster and it is easier to illustrate the basic principles and practical applications without bearing the burden of calculation procedures.
