Abstract: Digitization and digital transformation are bringing significant changes in all companies, regardless of their size and the economic area in which they work. Accounting is not separate from these changes. Recently, new digital technology has been entering rapidly, radically changing modern business and accounting. In Bulgarian companies, accounting is a field where document management is specified and regulated, which supports digitization and digital transformation.
