Abstract:
The role of consulting firms for implementing digital transformation by various organizations has been attracting attention not only in a practical-applied framework. At the same time, navigating relevant changes through the use of digital technologies, that are affecting the business model reconfiguration, along with the firm’s infrastructure, processes and people, is the subject of growing interest in the academic literature as well. The aim of this paper is to analyze the adaptation of new approaches related to managing digital transformation in line with the growing market of providing such consultancy services worldwide. A major finding of this study is that consulting firms are refocusing their approaches towards the integration of new technologies instead of prioritizing related strategic issues.
