Abstract:
Abstract: One of the major problems related to an aging population is the social exclusion of older adults, often due to limited or lack of computer skills or low technological proficiency. This paper examines disparities in computer skill levels among people aged 55 and over in EU countries, with a specific focus on Bulgaria. Both a descriptive comparative analysis and an inductive analysis are conducted to identify factors influencing these skill levels. The data in the study are from the ninth wave of the Survey of Health, Aging, and Retirement in Europe (SHARE).
