Kameliia Petrova

New York Economic Review, 2012, vol. 43, issue 1, 46-69

Abstract: This study looks at employment changes in the North Country region (Franklin, Essex, Clinton, Jefferson, Lewis and Saint Lawrence counties) during the period 1990-2007 using the National Establishments Time Series, decomposes the sources of employment changes and, in the process, identifies the main sources of employment growth. The study was supported financially by the New York State Department of Labor.
