Abstract: On 4 April 2005, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted the International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism. This instrument results from the work accomplished by the Ad Hoc Committee established by General Assembly Resolution 51/210 of 17 December 1996 and the Working Group of the Sixth Committee.
