Abstract: By nuancing the Austrian School, Misesian theory of interventionism with the actions of political entrepreneurs, particularly by emphasizing the logic behind political action, the paper will attempt to present a realist theory of political integration, while defending the Misesian theory of interventionism against allegations of never reaching either one of the predicted outcomes: socialism or laissez-faire.
