Abstract: The recent dynamics have brought about the disruption of international production and, by extension, of global value chains. Global value chains have gone through profound imbalances generated by the Covid-19 pandemic, along with armed conflicts, political tensions, extreme weather events and cyber-attacks. That is why a still vulnerable system must be supported by policy measures.
