Abstract: The article aims to analyze the territorial diversity of the subpopulation that corresponds to the potential labor resources in Poland, both as it appeared between 2000–2014 and in the light of forecasts produced by the Central Statistical Office. The analysis comprises the working age subpopulation in Poland, including the current change of the pension age threshold. In addition, the age structure of this subpopulation has been analyzed according to territorial and temporal aspects
