Abstract: On July 7–8, 2008, an international group of researchers met at the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) in Vienna to present and discuss current research on Financial Stability. Hyun Song Shin from Princeton University and Martin Summer from the OeNB’s Economic Studies Division, who jointly organized this research workshop, titled the program “The Economics of Financial Stability”.
