Abstract: The movement of cittaslow is one of the trend topic issues in tourism industry. It is expected that cittaslow organization, its history, philosophy and policy should be very important for tourism students as well. This study aims to investigate tourism students’ knowledge and awareness on cittaslow. A questionnaire was used to determine the level of understanding of cittaslow on tourism students. For the questionnaire, the faculty of tourism students of Anadolu University (Eskişehir-TR) were selected, since many studies have been conducted on cittaslow stakeholders such as directors of cittaslow, local people, and tourists but there are a few studies on university students such as faculty of tourism who are the future of tourism. The data was collected from 1st year student to 4th grade students. Findings reveal a source of information about cittaslow based on different type of variables such as internet friends family. Besides that, identifying some substantial differences in their motivations were tourist attractions, modernism. and perceived image of the cittaslow. Although limitations of this study are linked to their explorative character, some future research lines are proposed
