Logistics Management as a Function of Sustainable Development of Tourist Destination

Abstract: Tourist destination is the reason for the tourists to travel. At the same time, due to the overwhelming nature of tourism consumption are bought where they offer products and vacation and tourist destination is coming under considerable pressure of tourists. Logistics applied to a specific area, such as territory tourism destination, provides the optimal organization of all flows at the destination. Since logistics is present in all elements and functions of destination management, the logical conclusion is that the effectiveness of destination management exceed the greater presence of logistics and logistics management in the tourism destination and all its businesses. Optimal use of capacity in implementing the activities of the logistics management, with the obligatory respect for the concept of sustainable development can be achieved to satisfy the demand of visitors and increase the quality and satisfaction of tourists, tourism products in the tourist destination which is also the conclusion of this research.
