Abstract:
In order to obtain constant and stable sources of finance, particularly in the changed circumstances on the banking market, i.e. the global financial crisis, credit institutions in Croatia have changed their business strategy by focusing partly on the non-interest income segment. By this procedure credit institutions are trying to impact their market position. In this paper the authors investigate the role and significance of non-interest income and its impact on business policies of credit institutions in the Republic of Croatia.
