Abstract: 人口8,000人弱の北海道東川町はユニークな「株主制度」のもと，５年４か月間で累計7,500万円以上の資金調達に成功している。資金提供者のうち半分以上は北海道以外，特に３分の１は関東圏の在住者である。域外から広く資金調達ができたのはインターネット上での告知，集客，支払いが可能となったインフラ的理由と，共感型投資（寄付）の普及にある。本事例の成功要因，資金提供者の属性を分析することで，日本における共感型投資やクラウドファンディングの可能性について検討する。
