Transnational Corporations Review, 2009, vol. 1, issue 3, 17-29

Abstract: Vietnam has a significant agricultural sector in the nation with a need for new agricultural technology and an increased demand for imports from other countries. This paper provides an overview of the importance of Vietnam's agricultural sector. It then analyzes its agricultural policy and trade development, concluding with a discussion of opportunities and challenges in the sector and their implications for Canada from a global perspective.
