Abstract: The effect of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the logistics industry on industrial structure is mainly in two areas: it can optimize the industrial structure and enhance industrial concentration. FDI in logistics industry plays an active role in the modernization of traditional industries. This paper sets up a model to test the industrial concentration hypothesis, using the example of Liaoning province. However, the province's industrial structure still has many problems, such as a large proportion of secondary industry, and slow and internally imbalanced development of tertiary industry. The paper argues that the recent increase in high-quality FDI in its logistics industry can improve China's industrial structure.
