Abstract:
In this paper, by use of the basic assumptions about human nature and the management, behavior, the ¡®cultural human' hypothesis and the basic viewpoint of the dualistic structure of culture are put forward. A theoretical model of cross-cultural management is constructed from local and foreign cultures, from traditional culture and the culture of innovation, and from innovative ability. Basic principles and strategies of management are analyzed and followed across cultures, and problem solving paths are proposed. The aims are to integrate multiculturalism and make it a true resource for multinational enterprise management, and to optimize both innovation and humanism through cross-cultural management.
