War of the wardrobes: General Court finds registered design lacking individual character on the basis of a disclosed earlier design

Abstract: The General Court (‘GC’) has upheld a European Union IP Office (EUIPO) Board of Appeal decision that had found a design for a wardrobe lacking individual character, thus declaring the design invalid under Article 6(1)(b) of the Community Design Regulation 6/2002/EC (‘CDR’).
