Abstract:
Genecol-99 is one of the first agricultural biotechnology products available commercially. Analysis of the potential market for this product may yield insights into the potential markets of future agricultural biotechnology products, which, like Genecol-99, have single or very few uses and may only be used on specific species. In addition, analysis of returns on investment were made. This analysis suggests that marketing costs may be as significant as research and development costs.
