When Apples come in

Abstract: This case tells about an apple packing firm which needs to develop a sampling scheme to estimate the quantity of different grade/size apples in its stock. The need is driven by the market, and solving the problem involves statistical analysis. This is an example of using a real marketing case in teaching quantitative techniques. A brief teaching note is also included
