Towards a better list of citation superstars: compiling a multidisciplinary list of highly cited researchers

Igor Podlubny and Katarina Kassayova

Research Evaluation, 2006, vol. 15, issue 3, 154-162

Abstract: A new approach to producing multidisciplinary lists of highly cited researchers is described and used for compiling the first multidisciplinary list of highly cited researchers. This approach is essentially related to the recently discovered law of the constant ratios, and gives a better-balanced representation of different scientific fields.
