Abstract:
A relational database with information downloaded from different bibliographic databases is presented. Its structure aims to obtain bibliometric and scientometric indicators for science policy. All fields have to be adequately normalised. A semi-automatic system to standardise and codify the institutional corporate sources and the journals is described. Several applications to case studies in science policy are given. Copyright , Beech Tree Publishing.
