Abstract:
In Palestine, the discussion of reproductive rights must be placed within both the cultural context and the context of the Palestinian National Struggle, as women came to signify the nation, and those who bear and nurture children for the national struggle. Jamileh Abu-Duhou draws on ethnographic research she conducted in Palestine from October 2000 to May 2001. Development (2003) 46, 85–89. doi:10.1057/palgrave.development.1110452
