Development, 2005, vol. 48, issue 4, 56-60
Abstract:
Adrienne Germain and Zonibel Woods review how prevention strategies could more effectively protect women and girls from HIV/AIDS. They propose an integrated approach: universal access to sexual and reproductive health, protection of sexual rights, comprehensive sexuality education with a focus on gender equality for youth in and out of the formal education system, and investment in women controlled prevention methods.
