Exile Within: Israeli Development and the Palestinians in Israel
Isabelle Humphries
Development, 2009, vol. 52, issue 4, 509-513
Abstract:
Palestinians in Israel are excluded from development through a process of exclusion of Arab communities and the development of Jewish settlements, based on the confiscation of Arab land and housing demolition. Isabelle Humphries examines the city of Jaffa and the Bedouin villages of the Negev to highlight this essentially xenophobic process.
