Standards and Assessment in Education
Conrad Wesley Snyder
Development, 2010, vol. 53, issue 4, 540-546
Abstract:
Schooling is the heart of society, sustaining and energizing its very core. Conrad Wesley Snyder argues that standards and assessments are crucial both at the beginning and at the end of education programmes. He warns that inadequate attention to the need for standards and assessment, as well as what happens in between, can doom educational efforts.
