Abstract:
Abstract The International Seabed Authority will decide whether to provisionally approve a plan of work submitted by a Canadian-registered company to commence mining the deep seabed of the Pacific Ocean for polymetallic nodules. A decision in favour of the company would open the door to destroying the last wilderness on planet earth.
