Quality measures of household labour market indicators

Abstract: This article considers the reliability ofthe two main survey sources for keyhousehold labour market indicators, usingstandard errors to inform users on theaccuracy of regular household analysis.It shows the level of detail that providesreliable analysis for different geographies.It will also consider when to use theAnnual Population Survey (APS) insteadof the Labour Force Survey (LFS, see ONS2009a).
