Abstract:
One of the most significant changes in the financial services sector over the past few years has been the appearance and development of bancassurance. Indeed, the distribution of insurance products through banks is gradually becoming widespread in many parts of the world. This article aims to shed more light on this emerging distribution channel. Although bancassurance has not developed at an equal pace throughout the world, it is evident that it provides clear benefits for insurers, banks and customers and is expected to continue to grow.
