Abstract: Abstract This study examined quality enhancement practices in secondary schools in the Oromia Regional State, Ethiopia, focusing on the influence of school infrastructure, financial practices, and community engagement on academic achievement. The study employed a convergent parallel mixed-methods design. A total of 32 schools, randomly selected across four zones in the region, participated in the research. The study involved 388 participants, including teachers, department heads, principals, and PTSA members. Data collection methods included questionnaires, interviews, and document reviews. The study found a strong correlation between quality practices and academic achievement. However, inconsistencies in infrastructure, material adequacy, utilization, and financial management present significant challenges. Addressing these challenges requires a comprehensive approach, including resource optimization, effective financial management, and community engagement and support. Recommended strategies involve conducting comprehensive needs assessments, prioritizing infrastructure and resources, seeking community partnerships for funding, and investing in resources with careful planning, ensuring transparency, and fostering sustainable improvements. These strategies aim to improve educational inputs, strengthen community ties, and support sustainable practices.
