Abstract:
The paper deals with the HR processes and selected areas of talent management in the specific context of tourism. It also highlights the benefits of talent management implementation and specifies HR processes used by organizations in practice. The paper draws primarily on a primary data gathered through questionnaire survey among selected organizations. Results shows, that there is a significant association between organizational characteristics and implementation of talent management, specifically the implementation/ non-implementation of talent management is related to the size of the organization. The findings confirm that the HR management should be focused more on the issue of developing and implementing talent management processes, filling management positions by talented people, stimulating talented people financially, putting more emphasis on developing the potential of employees (through education and training).
