Abstract: The debate on corporate responsibility is permeating increasingly to the public sector. The aim of the present work is to discuss possible implications of CSR concepts that could be observed in public organizations. It follows from the research conducted that public organizations are familiarized with the principles of corporate social responsibility and in the majority of cases possess accepted standards of applying them.
