New methods for the audit of the utilisation of EU funds

Pál Becker

Public Finance Quarterly, 2007, vol. 52, issue 1, 123-129

Abstract: After the establishment of the European Union and the continuous enlargement thereof, as well as in line with the globalisation trends, a “new” player appeared in the international political and economic arena that wants to play a major role in shaping the processes due to its size and economic weight. According to its objective, it wants to be one of the most rapidly developing regions of the world, and to this end it spends enormous sums on the implementation of its strategic objectives.
