PRICING POLICY IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES: The Case of Pakistan

Abstract:
This paper presents an analysis of price (tax) reform in developing countires, with perticular reference to Pakistan for 1976. The purpose of the paper is to highlight aspects which need to be taken account of when formulating price policies. The results and conclusions presented should therefore be accepted in this spirit and also seen as preliminary.
