Abstract:
The Indian manufacturing and service industries are at a defining moment of rapid advancement and explosion, which is expected to take the country to the next level of global competitiveness. This paper reviews the recent events that have shaped the country’s economic and business landscape and argues for the urgency of a significant modernization of its logistics and supply chain management practices.
