Abstract:
Public–private partnerships are key to successfully translate knowledge to products, but current frameworks do not foster the systems-wide approach required to improve crops to meet the agricultural production challenges of the 21st century. To meet the agricultural challenges caused by climate change and a growing population, we need to improve crop production. This Perspective calls for more and better public–private partnerships to accelerate discoveries in crop research.
