Abstract: The recognition and the execution of foreign arbitrary awards in Romania in relation to the public order exigencies of Romanian private international law can give rise in practice to several problems related to procedural and material law; the present analysis highlights the solutions given to these problems and makes reference to the pertinent jurisprudence of the ECHR and to that of European Court of Justice
