Abstract:
The gradual evolution of international trade and of environmental protection regimes continues to arouse conflict and contention opportunities. The international community is, in theory, engaged and involved both in trade liberalization and sustainable development in environmental matters. However, given the current system of economic activity, trade may also harm the environment.
