Abstract: Intr-o lume neliniara, rolul administratiei publice este unul complex, care presupune crearea unui echilibru intre sisteme, adaptabilitate si continuitate in dezvoltarea societatii. In acest context al incertitudinii, sustenabilitatea este necesara sa fie integrata in functionarea si organizarea administratiei publice pentru a contribui la bunastarea atat a generatiilor prezente cat si a celor viitoare. Lucrarea se bazeaza pe aspecte legate de dezvoltarea unei administratii publice sustenabile bazata pe schimbari organizationale, in actualul context marcat de globalizare si de schimbari radicale. Metodologia cercetarii a constat in documentarea si analizarea teoriilor organizationale si lucrarilor de specialitate, de la nivel international si national. Apelul la resursele bibliografice si observatia spontana au reprezentat chei de bolta ale lucrarii. Aceasta cercetare atrage atentia asupra importantei aplicarii conceptului de sustenabilitate si intelegerii impactului sau pe termen lung.
