Abstract: У статті аналізується сучасний стан ринку інтимних послуг. Наводяться статистичні дані щодо України та окремих зарубіжних країн (Великобританія, Індія, Індонезія, Китай, Малайзія, Німеччина, Польща, США, Таїланд, Філіппіни, Франція), які показують кількість проституюючих осіб залучених до секс-бізнесу, масштаби даного бізнесу, його динаміку. Аналізуються окремі характеристики європейського і азіатського ринку інтимних послуг. В ході наукового пошуку зроблено висновок, що обсяги проституції в Україні щороку зростають, даний вид бізнесу курується і збагачує тіньові структури, корумпованих державних службовців та посадових осіб і, в підсумку, підриває економічну безпеку країни. Запропоновано взяти проституцію під офіційний державний контроль, шляхом її легалізації. Abstract. The article analyzes the current state of the market of intimate services. It gives statistical data on Ukraine and some foreign countries (the UK, India, Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Germany, Poland, the USA, Thailand, the Philippines, France), which show the number of prostitutes involved in the sex business, the scale of this business and its dynamics. Some features of the European and Asian market of intimate services are analyzed. The research concludes that prostitution in Ukraine is growing every year, this type of business is overseen by the shadow structures and enriches them, as well as corrupt civil servants and officials and, as a result, undermines the country’s economic security. It has been proposed to take prostitution under the official state control by legalizing it. JEL Classification: K40
