Abstract:
Economic growth together with gross domestic product increase - have been considered as principal criteria of countries´ welfare. Contemporary era witnesses profound changes within countries and their population. These have been reflected in impacts on evaluating wealth, happiness and content criteria. The increased economic growth, on one side moves countries´ living standards upwards, on the other side the feelings of happiness do not rise adequately. We attempt to analyze the relations between higher incomes and their impacts on population´s family, social and professional lives. Based on international as well domestic institutions´ research outputs we submit some happiness determinants, some ideas and conclusions that could be a challenge for more profound discussion on the importance of life style quality improvement.
