Aspects of energy intensity of agriculture

Abstract: The objective of the contribution, which is based on the research of National agency for agricultural research (NAZV QH 71016) carried out between 2007 and 2010, is to present the initial energetic and economic situation of the Czech agriculture. Based on the published data, the position of the agriculture as a consumer of various sources of energy is evaluated. The objective is the evaluation of the economic and energetic efficiencies of agricultural holdings and their reciprocal connection with the accent on the corporate social responsibility.
