Evaluation and Development of Innovative Performance of the Czech Republic

Abstract:
Innovations are an important condition for long-term competitiveness of the economy. They are supported by the state and there are financial programs for their support. Operational Programme „Enterprise and Innovation“ has defined key indicators that will track the target output as a criterion. Viewed indicators called contextual indicators and there are labor productivity, employment, the percentage of patents, Summary Innovation Index and the percentage of workers employed in the knowledge sector. Target values were set for 2015. Article monitor their ongoing value and discuss on the basis of comparison with other statistical variables reality of their achievement.
