Ekonomika a Management, 2016, vol. 2016, issue 1

Abstract: This paper deals with the relation of change managers´ personality characteristics and behavior patterns and how these may affect the change management processes in the organization. The research is based on the analyses combing the data from the change management study which analyzed various change mangers from different managerial levels, across different fields of business, as to how did they approach the process of leading the change project against their personality profiles. For personality profile assessment the Predictive Index measurement tool was applied which is currently used by over 8,000 organizations across a wide variety of industries and company sizes and over two million people around the world completed their assessment. The research results set forth the new element of utilizing the psychometric tool in the field of change management covering mainly the suitable managerial appointments with the intention of increasing the probability of a successful completion of the project, personal development strategies or working teams building.
